But the issue with doing it during tames is that it drops the torpor bar, too. When taming no amount of stimberries or stimulant will make any dino eat more than it naturally would.
Troodon knocked me out, was on the ground ... woke up and got knocked out again. Eventually the troodon attacked something else or something else attacked the troodon so I woke up. When looking in the settings of ARK, I see "Wild Dino Torpidity", which claims to affect the amount of 'torpidity gained' by wild dinos. In theory, if I want to knock wild dinos unconscious with ease, wouldn't I want to turn that setting UP? If you didn't start playing Ark a minute ago, you probably already discovered that narcotics and narcoberries are used to knock out a dino unconscious. However, what do you do when you want it to wake up? The opposite of Narcotics is the Stimulant. It is used for counteracting Torpidity. The main advantage of this item it's that it does not spoil.

I know that if you throw down too many creatures they will temporarily be in an unconscious like state and take 10 times more damage. But how long is the time you gotta wait to avoid that the next dino you throw out is not getting the cryosickness?

Mar 3, 2016 · The 2 things that lower TE are damage taken during tame and how many times it eats. The more times it eats the lower it goes. If you don't have any food in it then you can't see where TE is at. But it does not reset when tame progress returns to 0. The only way to reset TE is to let the animal wake up and retranq.
Don't use stimulants. Those are to wake thinks up from being knocked. Use that for fighting scorpions or w/e. To keep things knocked out its best to use narcotics, you can make that with narcoberrys at a mortar and pestle. Narcoberrys work as well, but really you want narcotics. Some tames, such as the theri, are torpor resistant.
